i'm just gonna put some ideas down here because honestly i've been lowkey thinking about this all day lmao
- so, keeping the whole 'elemental carriers were originally created by Project Phoenix, an experiment created by the government of ~insert major country here~ to try and create humans that lived longer to try and combat a rapidly decreasing population due to volatile changes in atmosphere and landmass, leading to a lot of random natural disasters and widespread death' as a basis, i'm thinking that the present day would be liiiike... maybe thrity to forty years after the creation of Project Phoenix, so the first generation have had a chance to grow up, and some of the first generation have gone on to have children, leading to maaaaaybe... 5% max of the population being Elemental Carriers. first generation carriers can be anywhere from twenty to thirty years old at this point.
- i'm kinda thinking of like... removing the idea of the time deitiesbecause it was sorta lame and OP and removing 'the damned' because i kinda reused that concept for another RP. xD but in exchange putting a heavier emphasis on Hunters, which can either be humans they mostly are) or really disillusioned Carriers driven by self loathing or smth. :L
- on the subject of Hunters, because I wanted to remake my old Hunter Pisces, I ended up thinking about this organisation of hunters that have produced a team of incredibly well trained Hunters known as 'The Zodiac', with twelve/thirteen (if you wanna count Serpentarius) active at any one time, working as a team to track down and hunt Carriers in the area. if one of them dies, another trainee replaces them, taking on their alias. (so, Pisces, Taurus, Gemini etc)
- maybe the whole deal with the gods is kinda like... the world was created by a pantheon of gods, specialising in certain aspects, but due to a lack of belief alongside destruction of the earth and its resources have ended up in them losing power. so instead of time deities, maybe one or two of the goddesses use their remaining power to possess chosen vessels (or at least share their body) to try and lead the Carriers to try and restore their power? iiiidk.
- and ofc you've got the Carriers resistance, led byLambda Morrigan, a fucking furious Carrier. :L
