A ramshackle building that had fallen into a state of decay for as long as anyone could remember. The scum that littered the exterior stone took on an emerald film that peeled off on contact with human tissues. Due to the excessive amount of patients entered in under the hospital staff's care for that reason, a metal fence was erected around the facility and a buzzer placed at the gate. If you're lucky an attendant will be standing close to the security camera to help you, but that isn't to say your luck won't run out.

Aisles and aisles of books littered the walls with their knowledge. The perfume of ancient text was intoxicating, and has proved for years to bring knowledge seekers to their demise should they not yield the creatures that hide inside.

All notions of reliable justice had been abandoned for many, many years. Now, the folks of this city used the ancient method of hanging a criminal without thoroughly investigating the crime to see if there was another to blame. Inside it appeared as it had years ago; save for the layer of dust and grime that had settled in thick clusters upon everything.

A massive fountain had once been the center of focus in the square. The cobblestone that surrounded it was severely cracked to make way for the tracks that guided the modified subway car. Although the fountain still worked to some slight degree, the water that streamed up from the mouth of a smiling dolphin gave the offensive aroma of death. The scent itself was more than likely due to the bodies that would occasionally appear floating in the water just waiting to be fished out.

The last remaining skyscraper in the city, surprisingly well kept compared to the disarray of the rest of the buildings. The political figure 'Indigo' makes his speeches from here. No-one gets in uninvited, and no ones leaves without permission.
